I’d like to share my favorite T- shirt to everyone. This is my favorite T- shirt I bought 5 years ago in Taipei, it’s made of 100% cotton, my favorite material cos its comfortable for me. This T- shirt is from an American brand “Good On”, the first time I knew this brand was 2016 when I studied at Taipei. I was attracted to this brand cos of their vintage colors, using reactive dye and every time after washing, the color will fall off a little bit, everyone can get their special “Good On” after washing it a few times later, I really like this, and I bought some different types of clothes from this brand over the years.

I also think this brand is more environmentally friendly, cos its using 5.5 ounces of American cotton. The details of the whole piece, such as neckline, cuff, joint, etc.

They all use high-strength sewing technology, which is very durable even after washing all year round, their T-shirts are made to last rather than being fast fashion pieces.

The reason I love this T-shirt is also cos it’s from my favorite city: Taipei (apart from the city I’m from), this T-shirt has spent lots of good time with me. I think when people talk about their favorite clothes, it’s not only including the style and material, but also to talk about their feelings and memories with the clothes.

I really like the background of T-shirt history, it’s interesting to me, the wet processing part of the garment life cycle has also taught me more about the garment industry. I have also learned that to successfully sell a T-shirt it not only requires good design, but also has a lot of knowledge related to it, such as customer preferences, economic situation, market demand, etc., none of which is indispensable.

I want to learn more about T-shirt design and sewing clothes, I really want to make a T-shirt by myself in the future. I also want to know more about clothes ‘new’ life after the end of their first life, I want to know how can we protect the environment more in the fashion industry.

I don’t really understand using graphic T- shirt as a political tool part, I want to learn more about it.
